Yoga for Health

November 9 at Stockholmsmässan.

Yin and Yang with Magdalena Mecveld and Johanna Hector

The most wonderful yoga experience of the fall will be arranged on November 9 at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö when Allt för Hälsans yoga event Yoga for Health takes place.

Since its first implementation in 2022, Yoga for Health has been a success among visitors. During this year’s fair, more specifically on November 9, we will once again create the most wonderful yoga experience of the fall with two of Sweden’s leading instructors. This year’s names are none other than Magdalena Mecweld and Johanna Hector.

A warm welcome to Yoga for Health, doors open at 08:30.

Rest strong with yin yoga,
Magdalena Mecweld

Each exhalation becomes a relaxation

Pass 1: 09:00-10:15

Wake up to a new day with the help of Magdalena’s beautiful yin yoga. We will gently open up the body using deep breathing and gentle yin yoga movements. Physical focus is on the seat, hips, groin, thighs and lower back. The mental focus is to find your way back home to the stillness beyond the fast pace of life. We calm and strengthen and recover the power that has been lost. (The pass is suitable for all bodies and levels)

Magdalena Mecweld is, in addition to being one of Sweden’s most influential yoga teachers, also an author and journalist and has been teaching yoga since 2003. Her books ‘Rest Fit with Yin Yoga’ (2012) and ‘Rest Strong with Yin Yoga’ (2022) and the apps of the same name have become international successes. Magdalena inspires through trainings, workshops and lectures in yin yoga and meditation.

Every breath is an awakening

Session 2: 10:30-11:45

Cultivate strength and beauty with Johanna in this dynamic and energizing yoga class where every movement is synchronized with the breath, creating a harmonious and rhythmic practice. By cultivating a steady but soft strength, this practice will help you keep calm and flexibility even in the most challenging moments. Physically, this is a gentle but effective form of yoga that builds both strength and flexibility. The class offers space for both beginners and experienced yogis to grow and be challenged, depending on your own will and ability.

Focusing on continuous movement and mindful presence on the mat, Vinyasa Wake Up aims to create balance in both body and mind. Come and experience how a mindful yoga practice can transform your day and give you a powerful start!
